It was time for Granger Beach Week! We scheduled the week in March this year, due to the fact that Baby Levi is due during the time we usually go. I love when we go on vacation, and I like to get everyone else just as excited! So I made up little buckets with goodies for the girls for the trip, some things to do on the way down (coloring books and The Lion Kind DVD), new outfits and Crocs (I buy things on sale and then find reasons to gift them for the girls), and sand/pool toys!
When they woke up Sunday morning they ‘opened’ up their goodies!
fun fun!
We finished packing then got in the car to head down to the beach, the girls were excited :)
The weather wasn’t on our side for the week in temperature, only with sun. That left us with little beach time, but lots of biking!
We did have fun eating lots of good food from homemade popsicles…
to amazing Mexican!
We even celebrated Debo’s Birthday!
Although we were on vacation, some work had to get done, but it’s always a little easier to do it with a helping hand.
more bike rides
Thankfully there was a great indoor pool for us to play in.
ha, not this huge ‘indoor pool’ but it did provide lots of fun!
We took the girls to their first arcade and they racked up in tickets
there may have been cheating, but with that face it’s easy to get away with it
Glad she likes the puzzle, it cost $30….seriously
Even though we didn’t see much of the beach, it was great to get away for a few days with the family and have some fun! Hard to believe that next year on Granger Beach Week little Levi will be joining us!
really cute baby
