Jesus’ Scarf

You’ve seen them all around town, cross’ in front of churches with a purple sash.  Callie thought this was very interesting since they just started showing up. 

So she asks, “Mommy, why does that cross have a scarf on it?  Does Jesus need it to get warm?”  I then did my best to explain Lent.  I have a feeling that she’ll have lots of questions this Easter, but looking forward to sharing the Eater story with her!
