First day of School!

The girls were so excited to start school!  Callie started in Kindergarten and Chloe in the threes, both at Eastminster.  Liam and I will sure miss our girls, but know they’ll will have a great year!

First Day of School!

Oh how I love EDS!  We have missed our friends and I’m not sure who was more excited about going back to school- me or the girls!  It’s Chloe’s first year at EDS, she’s going into the Twos.  Callie is going into the Fours. 

I pray that they always love school this much!!

EDS Mother’s Day Tea

EDS put together the cutest Mother’s Day Tea party you have ever seen.  I might have shed a tear, or two, with how much love was felt from Callie and her classmates!  This will be a day I’ll treasure forever!

EDS Easter Egg Hunt

School Visit

Callie’s school invites a parent each month to sit in and watch the class to see what goes on during their busy day.  I signed up for October and I was really excited to see what goes on!  Callie usually gives me detailed reports, but seeing it in person was great.  I brought my camera to take pictures for all the other parents to see what happened that day too, yeah I know it’s a good excuse to bring my camera :)

That day was a special orange treat day- orange soda, orange sherbet and ginger ale, they loved it!

It was Chapel day and it was the cutest thing.  They sang songs, had a little sermon, and they even sang happy birthday to anyone that had a birthday that week, which included Callie!

After seeing  what they do on the playground, I have no idea how Callie doesn’t nap anymore.  She ran and ran and ran!! 

There was more circle time, coloring, and cutting to be done, they sure do keep these kids busy!

It was such a treat to get to see what they do everyday.  Already looking for an excuse to visit again :)

Grandparents Day

While Vaughn and I were in Jamaica, Callie’s school had Grandparents Day!  I thought this very fitting since the girls were staying with their grandparents throughout our vacation.  From what I heard it the kids sung some songs and recited some rhymes and that it was super cute!  Thank you Grandparents for keeping our girls while we had a mommy and daddy vacation!

Before school started Callie got to check out her school and meet her teacher, she loved trying out the book bag (which is WAY to big)

Mac was having some trouble with ‘monsters’ in her room a couple nights in a row.  We decided to put a sign on her door to make sure they understood they were not allowed in, it actually worked

She loves apple juice, a lot.  And is usually very unhappy with me when she isn’t served any

Hoarding, Buried Alive

Callie started school so me and the little bit are getting some one on one time now!  She like being the only one on our grocery trips, even gets a special cookie treat

Callie has to wear tennis shoes every Thursday to school for gym.  At first she was terribly upset about it, so Mommy had to wear hers every Thursday too

The beach house was calling our name so we packed our bags and headed out with Kelsey and Levi

It was a little cloudy, but nobody seemed to mind

We also tried a new ice cream spot, it is hands down my favorite place to go now

Doc needed a check up so the girls, and ‘baby Levi’ took him

He wasn’t a fan and wanted to run out the entire time.  While we were there he started barking.  I corrected him and Callie then informed me that “A friend loves at all times.”  Yes, I was corrected by daughter with a bible verse, I was speechless….

August was great, but September is here whether were ready or not!
