He’s Here!

Levi Miles Granger

May 9, 2012 ~ 4: 26pm ~ 8lbs 4oz ~ 21 1/2”

Now let’s back up here a bit, the day started off with a simple Dr. appointment for Kelsey, which ended with a beautiful baby boy coming into this world!  We all waited on pins and needles during the ‘pushing’ part to hear word oh Levi’s arrival

after only a few mins we got a text that he had arrived! We then waited patiently to go see the newest Granger.  Once we were allowed back, we all had to laugh at all of us rushing back

and this is what we walked into, pure happiness!  I totally teared up seeing them with their little bundle.  Knowing DR since he was in 5th grade and now seeing him as a daddy, it’s just amazing!

We had made a little wager in the waiting room, whoever got Levi’s weight correct (or closest) would get to hold him first.  Vaughn was closest at 8lbs 3oz and was the lucky one!

Growing families!

We said goodbye to the new family of three and took our family of four home, no naps that day made for total meltdowns on they way out.  The next morning I went up to see the little and snapped this cute pic of him and his Big V

Callie got to hold Levi for the first time, and she was such a proud cousin!

I think Uncle D was ready to be a little silly, and my girls are always up for play.  :)

While I was visiting, my Mom stopped by.  She works at the same hospital and it was great seeing her too!

I loved getting to see Levi so much and knew I would miss him over the next couple of days.  We had Travis and Emily’s wedding weekend ahead of us but knew with them headed home it would be good to let them transition for a few days before heading back over.  Plus, they only live 1 mile away, so pop in visits will happen often!
