This past weekend me and the girls headed up to Clemson for the weekend. There was LOTS to do: Visit Uncle Alex, see my cousins new baby- Jordan, see campus, and cheer on the Tigers vs Duke! We got there last Friday night, but not too late for a trip to the Esso. The next morning we got going and headed first to walk around campus for a minute. I might be a bit biased, but Clemson has one of the prettiest campuses around and I love seeing it this time of year. First picture with the girls on campus
Shortly after this Callie went running down a hill. As many of you know, she isn’t the most graceful person you have ever met, and went tumbling down. She got a little boo boo on her hand, which almost ruined the rest of her afternoon. I’m really hoping she’ll grow out of the “cry baby” bit…. We got her calmed down and continued walking around. Clemson has some of the biggest trees so I just had to put Callie in one. She was super cute, until…
She saw her boo boo…. Seriously, she had forgotten about it, until she saw it again…. Chloe, was content hanging out in the strollerWe packed back up and headed on to my Cousin Kate’s for lunch and a visit before nap time. Kate just had a baby girl and we wanted to meet their new addition! Callie of course was excited to visit with William! After lunch, the kids took a popsicle break outside Uncle Alex came along as well and Chloe got some special time with him!Sweet baby Jordan! Callie was close to a meltdown so we headed back home for a nap. That night we got to go to the Clemson/Duke Baseball game. I like baseball okay, sometimes find it boring, but watching it with Callie was a blast! She loved cheering, even yelling “CATCH THE BALL!!” Chloe enjoyed herself as well! When everyone cheered for something, it would startle her, but then she quickly returned to her smiley self! Unfortunately they paused the game for lightning after the third inning, so we decided to leave and get a bite to eat. We knew that a 2 1/2 year old would only last so long during the game and we wanted to leave on a positive note. Clemson did pull out a win that night- waa hoo!
Sunday was spent helping mom and dad move out of their condo, sad that they rented it out for the next year, but know we’ll be there again soon to visit! Callie is still talking about baseball, looks like we’ll be seeing a lot of the Blowfish/”Daddy’s” team this year!
