We started off December with finding out we were going to have another nephew!

I really love when our house is decorated for Christmas

 

Chloe potty trained herself- and yes, it’s been as awesome as it sounds

We celebrated Christmas bright and early with the Granger Owings family at the Capital City Club.  Thankful that these two were on their best behavior!

Chloe LOVES Doc, and he loves her food droppings.  Chloe insisted Doc ride with us to pick up Callie from school, he does NOT like car rides

An early Christmas present for the ‘adults’ in this house- new appliances!!

The girls were fighting a snotty nose and cough for a while so I took them in right before Christmas.  Thankful I did- both got on antibiotics!

December wore us out.  We had no schedule, rarely a nap in our bed, but had a LOT of fun!

Levi’s little….

When Levi was just over 3 months old, Kelsey and DR found out that they were going to have another baby!  It was finally time to find out what they were having and Kelsey asked if I could watch Levi for them while they went to the Dr. to find out.  The day before though we took a poll to see what everyone thought they would have, Callie and I guessed girl, Chloe and Vaughn guessed boy.

So that morning came and Levi went with us to school while they went to the Dr.  Callie loved having him ‘take’ her to school!

A little later Kelsey came buy to pick Levi up and told me what they were having…

a BOY!

How fun!!  Even though I guessed girl, a boy couldn’t be more perfect!

A little while later they settled on his name, Jude August Granger.  He’ll be affectionately called JAG by his Aunt Erin :)  Cannot wait to meet sweet JAG in early May!

We started September with a trip to the lake with the Grangers.  The girls LOVE to fish and Vaughn treated them with their very own Barbie fishing poles. 

A few years ago I locked the girls in the Tahoe after doing remote start after I had already opened a door.  Unfortunately another friend of mine did the same thing.  It’s a MAJOR flaw in the Suburban/Tahoe models.  PLEASE is you have one of these cars, do not do remote start AFTER opening a door.  It’s no fun to go through or watch a friend go through  a fireman breaking into the car to get to your babies

Ok, enough of preaching!  :)

Chloe still LOVES to feed Doc, and usually ends up being all of the food all over my floor

JAMAICA!  Vaughn took me on this wonderful trip for just the two of us!

The day after we got home, this song came on, such a perfect way to describe us being back with our babies!

I made boiled peanuts for the first time since college, gosh I love them

As the weather is turned cooler I pulled out Callie’s old clothes that would fit Chloe now.  In there was the outfit that Callie wore to go meet Chloe.  It was the sweetest heart wrenching thing to see, gosh they grow up fast

We’re a little confused about what holiday is going to come up next.  Halloween, St Patrick's Day or Christmas.

June was jam packed with fun, and it all started with a trip to Sunset Beach for Rowland Beach Week!

While we were there Chloe had a terrible case of diaper rash.  She was on some serious antibiotics for an ear infection/running nose.  That meant naked baby on the beach!

Chloe never took to a paci, the only thing she loves is her llama, and she really really loves it

Chloe list of medeications only increased when we got back from the beach…. no one told me that kids medications could add up so quickly

during bath one night, I saw Callie in Chloe like I had never seen before, it took me by surprise!

We are working on this girl actually posing for a picture without her tilting her head

Callie went to VBS and Chloe and I got some special 1 on 1 time together

We’ve really enjoyed the pool lately!

Chloe is really wanting to put her own clothes on now, and though she hasn’t figured out that shirts go over the head and not by the feet, she keeps trying!  Usually big sister comes into help too

I was in a sewing mood one night and I remembered this cute idea I saw on Pinterest.

at first Mac didn’t love it, but I think she saw my sad face and changed her mind. She ended up wearing it all day and loved it!

before the heat wave hit Columbia, we spent as much time outside as we could.  Having two little ones stuck inside for a couple of days is no fun

With a dog and two messy kids, theres no shortage of things to vacuum up

90% of the time we have cereal for breakfast.  Chloe has yet to have milk in her bowl.  My attempt at letting her be a big girl back fired, she hated it!
