And Baby Makes 4!

Baby Granger is due October 28th! Callie is going to be a big sister right after her 2nd birthday! Vaughn and I are SO excited feel so blessed to have another child come into our lives. It's amazing to think that this Thanksgiving and Christmas, we'll be a family of four, and I can't wait. I have also decided that it's time for me to be a full time mommy. I'll be leaving the Chamber in June and I'm thrilled about doing a job that I've dreamed about for years. Don't get me wrong, I'm really going to miss the Chamber, it's been good to us through these last 5 years, but I'm ready for a new adventure. I'm also excited about it because I'll have some one-on-one time with Callie before her life gets turned upside down. Baby girl is already getting ready for the little ones arrival, she has a cute new t-shirt that says "I'm the Big Sister!" :) She has no clue, but it's still cute. She is also about to start transitioning out of the nursery to her big girl room, currently our guest room. First step: toddler bed! Other than that, I'm feeling great and moving right along. Callie and I are headed out to Dallas, TX tomorrow to visit my best friend Lucia and her family. First time Callie has been on a plane so I'm a little nervous, but ready to try it. I plan on taking LOTS of pictures while we are there, so look for that post next week, :)

Step Right Up!

Back in February G-Kat and I took little Mac to the Circus. No it wasn't Ringling Brothers, I'm so glad it wasn't after the experience but I'll get to that later, it was at Jamil Temple- what I would say the Ghetto but priced just right one. I thought Callie would have a blast and Kate, Andy and little William were in town so we went for it! If I had known how terrible Callie was going to act and hate it I wouldn't have taken her. We showed up and Callie was all about it, she was running around looking at the Elephants and all the other kids. But once we had to sit down and "enjoy the show", enjoy the show wasn't in Callie's dictionary. Was wanted to run, and that wasn't allowed, go figure. Thankfully there was a little area near our seats where I could hold her and where should couldn't kick anyone around us. It just also happen to be next to the emcee which he so graciously gave her a a light ball to play with. As you can see by my face, I was also having a great time... Since we didn't see much of the show, mom took some pictures of it for us...
Thankfully there was an intermission. Which Callie loved, she got to run around again. In one of the rings, there was a white tiger and you could get your picture taken with him. I asked how much it would be and the nice lady say, only $15! I don't think so lady. While we were running around, Callie ran up to the tiger to say hello, and I got my picture, YAY! :)
Callie and William also enjoyed some french fries during the break, look at those blondies!

While the whole experience wasn't a complete bust, their were parts of fun, we might go back again next year. But until she can last through this Circus, we will not go to Ringlings which costs double to attend. :)
