Update

Yesterday we had another check up with the doctor. We had another ultrasound which was so much fun to see how much the baby has grown in 4 weeks. The baby's head is measuring two weeks ahead of where we actually are, uh oh... haha I also got to see the baby move it's mouth, almost like it was smacking or sucking. Hands were at the face like usual. I asked about if my due date would change because the baby is so large, no luck, still set for the 15th of October. Still no names picked out for the little one. We can't really agree on any one name, although we have several that we both agree that we like. It'll come down to the last minute before we have a name I'm afraid!

Dallas!

I finally got to go out to Dallas, it's been a little over a year since I got the chance. I had a great time catching up with Lucia and Rob and meeting Little Lucia (or Little Rob, she is defiantly her father's child!).

June Beach Trip

Finally! Earlier in June we took a Rowland family beach trip to Sunset Beach.

This is most of the family, missing a couple of people, but you get the gist!

Buying Beer

Last weekend Vaughn and I were on our way to a friends house when he realized that he had no beer. Vaughn also conveniently forgot his wallet. Well I really didn't want to go in to buy the beer so I asked him to at least try to buy it with my credit card first. So on our first pit stop he goes in and they lady refuses to sell to him. So we travel to the next gas station and I go in to purchase the case. Well I get up to the counter and the cashier says "You aint about to drink that are you?" "Uh NO! It's for my husband." Cashier, with a discussed look on her face, "He makin you cary all dis?" "Yes, he is. Pretty terrible huh?" I'm sure my face was a very nice shade of red at this point. So as she is running my credit card another gentlemen walks up behind me, sees the case of beer that I'm about to buy and says, "You aren't about to drink that are you?" WOW! Really embarrassed now, I simply say, with a little laugh to make it all better, "Nope." I sign the ticket and I almost run out of the store. I told Vaughn that as long as I'm preggers I'll never buy beer again! It's funny now, but I was so embarrassed! At least there are some concerned citizens in the area. However, where are they when you really need them? Like when we were parked outside the store and a women pulls up and leaves her two children, both in a carseat, windows down, to go in to buy at 40 oz?

25 Weeks

Time is flying by! Last Thursday I had another check up along with my glucose tolerance test. I barely past, was 1 point away from having to take it all over again. So now I get to watch what I eat a little better, probably a good think since I hadn't been doing that very well. The best part came with the ultrasound! The baby has the LONGEST fingers and legs. It was extremely active during the ultrasound which was awesome to watch. The baby is currently transverse breached, meaning it's laid out with the head on one side and feet on the other, butt facing down. Dr. Hanna assured me that the baby still had time to rotate, and seeing how active it was he said it won't be a problem.

Tuesday, July 1, Vaughn, DR, and DR's girlfriend Laura and I went to the Dave Matthews Band concert in Charlotte. We had a blast! At one point though, I turned to Vaughn and said "If our kid goes through a drug phase in high school, we'll have to blame DMB." If you have ever been to one of his concerts, you know most of his followers like to partake in a little recreation drug. haha we got a good laugh out of that at least! :)

I'm supper excited about next week, I get to fly out to Dallas to meet little LU!
