Tummy Time

We’re starting not to mind tummy time so much!IMG_4242 IMG_4244 IMG_4246 IMG_4252

Blowey Chloe

Sometimes, you just got to post the not so perfect kid picture…. Clemson Visit 3-191…because it’s just too funny to not share!

Happy Wednesday!

Clemson!

This past weekend me and the girls headed up to Clemson for the weekend.  There was LOTS to do: Visit Uncle Alex, see my cousins new baby- Jordan, see campus, and cheer on the Tigers vs Duke!  We got there last Friday night, but not too late for a trip to the Esso.  The next morning we got going and headed first to walk around campus for a minute.  I might be a bit biased, but Clemson has one of the prettiest campuses around and I love seeing it this time of year.  Clemson Visit 3-19IMG_4398  First picture with the girls on campusIMG_4407

Shortly after this Callie went running down a hill.  As many of you know, she isn’t the most graceful person you have ever met, and went tumbling down.  She got a little boo boo on her hand, which almost ruined the rest of her afternoon.  I’m really hoping she’ll grow out of the “cry baby” bit…. IMG_4400 We got her calmed down and continued walking around.  Clemson has some of the biggest trees so I just had to put Callie in one.  She was super cute, until…IMG_4419

She saw her boo boo…. Seriously, she had forgotten about it, until she saw it again…. b  Chloe, was content hanging out in the strollerIMG_4446We packed back up and headed on to my Cousin Kate’s for lunch and a visit before nap time.  Kate just had a baby girl and we wanted to meet their new addition!  Callie of course was excited to visit with William!  After lunch, the kids took a popsicle break outside  IMG_4503 IMG_4506IMG_4510Uncle Alex came along as well and Chloe got some special time with him!Clemson Visit 3-194Sweet baby Jordan!IMG_4478  Callie was close to a meltdown so we headed back home for a nap.  That night we got to go to the Clemson/Duke Baseball game.    IMG_4516 I like baseball okay, sometimes find it boring, but watching it with Callie was a blast!  She loved cheering, even yelling “CATCH THE BALL!!”  Clemson Visit 3-192 Chloe enjoyed herself as well!  When everyone cheered for something, it would startle her, but then she quickly returned to her smiley self!Clemson Visit 3-195 Unfortunately they paused the game for lightning after the third inning, so we decided to leave and get a bite to eat.  We knew that a 2 1/2 year old would only last so long during the game and we wanted to leave on a positive note. Clemson did pull out a win that night- waa hoo! IMG_4527

Sunday was spent helping mom and dad move out of their condo, sad that they rented it out for the next year, but know we’ll be there again soon to visit!  Callie is still talking about baseball, looks like we’ll be seeing a lot of the Blowfish/”Daddy’s” team this year!

St. Patrick's Day

We started our St. Patrick’s celebration by making green shamrock cookies the day before.  As usual, I had some great helpers in the kitchen!IMG_4288StIMG_4298 Callie, my taste tester, thought they were great.  So much so, that she was VERY upset when I told her only one, she went from    This to This in .2 seconds…St1

St. Patrick’s Day morning we got up a little earlier than usual to make pancake breakfast for daddy.  Again, my helpers assumed the position… only this time Callie wanted to “help” feed Chloe her breakfast.IMG_4314Green shamrock chocolate chip pancakes- YUM!IMG_4321  Chloe even practiced holding her bottle

Zoo Class

I took Callie to the Zoo for a class, yes they teach there too! This particular class was about colors and Callie loved it!
We learned about some animals and their colors, then we got to do arts and crafts about those animals!

Our arts and crafts!! The "pink" flamingo, "green" eel, and "orange" clams!

She loved the class and I think well go back for more in the future!!

Speaking of class, Callie got into Eastminster! Were so excited that she'll start TTh half day twos in August! Yay!!

Lent: 40 Bags

Every year I participate in Lent, even though I'm not Catholic. I've done the typical- no caffeine, no sweets, no this or that, but this year I'm doing a different approach. 40 bags in 40 days. I'm gutting this house of all our junk during lent, from drawers to closest, it's getting organized. My goal is to get 40 bags of trash, give aways, and garage sale items out of my house during lent. I've been wanting to do this now for a LONG time and have not let myself start until Lent! I plan to take pictures of my bags and the before and afters to share. Looking forward to beginning tomorrow and to a de-cluttered house, Happy Lent! :)

At the Park

We have a great park about a 1/2 mile away from our house that Callie just loves. We try to go often, especially lately with this great weather!

BlogPress

I just downloaded BlogPress on my phone and I'm so excited about it. I take TONS of pictures on my phone and this is so convenient to post about them! Even though they'll be short and sweet, I'll be posting more it seems!
