Pink Glove

As some of you already know my mom is a breast cancer survivor.  In honor of Breast Cancer awareness month the hospital she works at, Lexington Medical, participated in Medline’s Pink Glove Dance video competition.  Two years ago, when Medline produced the original Pink Glove Dance video to raise breast cancer awareness, since then it has taken on a life of its own. The video has since generated more 13 million views on YouTube and inspired countless pink glove dance videos and events around the world.

This year, with continued large interest in the videos, Medline decided to host an online nationwide competition to find the best Pink Glove Dance video. Hospitals, nursing homes, schools and anyone in the U.S. and Canada who wanted to organize a group of people, could produce and submit their own Pink Glove Dance video, and that’s exactly what Lexington Hospital did!  The winner of the video competition will receive $10,000 to donate to their charity of choice, Lexington’s being Vera Bradley Foundation.  Lexington is currently in second place and needs all of our votes!  Please click on the link below to view their video and “Like” theirs so we can reach first place!
